Roe Canada is recognized as a leading nation in design and production of high performance aircraft. The CF-105 Arrow Supersonic Fighter was Avro Canada’s third major aircraft. The first project was the C-102 jetliner, the first jet transport to fly in North America and the world’s first Regional passenger jet. Avro Canada’s second project was the CF-100 all weather fighter which guarded the skies of Canada for over a quarter century.
