At the end of the Second World War, Canada is one of the world’s major industrial powers.

The Royal Canadian Air Force is the third largest in the world.

A.V. Roe Canada is recognized as a leading nation in design and production of high performance aircraft.

The CF-105 Arrow Supersonic Fighter was Avro Canada’s third major aircraft.

The first project was the C-102 jetliner, the first jet transport to fly in North America and the world’s first Regional passenger jet.

Avro Canada’s second project was the CF-100 all weather fighter which guarded the skies of Canada for over a quarter century.
